英汉新词共性探究

语言有三大要素：语音、语法和词汇，词汇是语言中最活跃的成分。新词语能让人感知到社会生活的变化，是社会发展的“睛雨表”。在对英汉新词研究中，差异对比研究较多但对两者共性的研究较少。通过对比，找出英汉新词在理据、构成等方面的相同点，探讨英语和汉语的共性，提出语言发展中语言和文化趋同的趋势，对二语学习有一定的指导意义。

A Tentative Study on Similarities between English and Chinese Neologisms

Among the three elements of a language, pronunciation,grammar and vocabulary,vocabulary is the most active. Neologisms act like a mirror by means of which people can observe social changes in a society. The studies of neologism pay more attention to the comparison on the individual study or the differences of the two rather than their similarities. It is of some value to locate the similarities on the motivation and formation of both the Chinese and English neologisms, with the tendency of language and culture convergence, which will promote the comparative study on the similarities of the two languages and hence guide the second language learning.
