村庄集体记忆的重建——以安徽宅坦村为例

集体记忆是一个群体的共同历史,其传承需要一定的载体,如宗族的族谱与宗族仪式。这些宗族、族谱曾在一段时间内遭到了严重的破坏。然而,在建设社会主义新农村的背景下,一些村庄开始了村庄记忆的重建工程,如重修族谱、编写村志等。本文以安徽宅坦村为个案进行研究,发现在再造集体记忆的过程中,民间权威精英充当了重建村庄历史的中间力量。重建记忆,主要是为了重建村庄的认同感,提高村庄的凝聚力。然而,重建后的集体记忆,可能难以融入村民的日常生活中了,难以发挥记忆的功能。

The Reconstruction of Village Collective Memory —— An Example from Zhaitan Village

Collective Memory is about shared history of a group , and its inheritance relies on some vectors , such as genealogy and ritual which were once destroyed. However in the context of building new socialist countryside , some villages have been reconstructing collective memory. The case study of Zhaitan Village shows that village elites play a crucial role in the reconstruction of collective memory. The main purpose of this arduous project is to rebuild the identity of the village to enhance the cohesion. However , it may be hard for the reconstructed collective memory to get into the villagers ’ daily life and work as memory.
