| Abstract: | An effective assessment system is necessary to the current reform of college English teaching which em-phasizes the students’multiple usage of English knowledge.The new assessment system not only stimulates learners motivation and interest to learn,but also makes it possible to monitor and facilitate learners’learning process as well as their autonomy.The teachers should pay enough attention to the objective of the assessment as well as the means. |
