| 摘 要： | 本文运用系统方法和比较方法,通过对通识教育内涵的归纳,结合哈佛大学近现代实施通识教育的历史,将教育观分为为什么教育、教育什么、什么最重要和如何教育等基本内容,分别对应通识教育的教育目的、教育内容（课程设置）、教育的本质内涵和选课制等四方面。这些基本内容随着人类知识体系的扩展、深化以及人类社会文明发展的实际需要而不断的发展。当前知识化、信息化、全球化社会的发展,要求大学生从对传统三大领域知识的学习,转变为学会学习、学会思考、学会做人、学会做事、学会生活。
