会展业对宾馆影响的定量研究——以上海浦东新区为例

会展业的发展给举办地的酒店业、餐饮业、交通运输业等带来了巨大的影响,宾馆作为开展会展活动不可缺少的一部分,其发展也深受会展活动的影响。选取了上海浦东会展业的统计数据,采用逐步回归法消除变量之间多重共线性的影响,分析会展活动对宾馆产生的影响。得出的结论是,在浦东新区的会展活动中,影响宾馆营业收入最主要的因素是展览面积和会议次数。

Quantitative Research about the Influence of the MICE Industry on the Hospitality： A Case of Pudong in Shanghai

The development of the MICE industry has a great influence on other relative industries.As an indispensable part in the MICE,the hospitality is under its influence deeply.This article,taking Pudong＇s MICE industry development as an example,uses the data of the hospitality operating income as the explained variable and takes the statistic data,which includes the exhibition area and frequency,the conference frequency,and the conference attendance number,as the explanatory variables to analyze the influence about the MICE industry on the hospitality.By analyzing the data with stepwise regressive method,a multivariate linear model is established,and the conclusion is drawn that in Pudong the exhibition area and the conference frequency make the largest contributions to the income of the hospitality.Every 10 thousand square meters increase of exhibition area will bring 3 million revenue,and one more conference will bring extra 360 thousand revenue.Then the paper analyzes the result both on general and specific aspects according to Pudong＇s current situation.The reasons contain the MICE industry is considered as a most important industry in Pudong,the characteristics of conference and exhibition,and so on.Finally,on the basis of the analysis,the paper gives the hospitality some suggestions about how to explore the meeting market and develop in a sustainable way.
