| Abstract: | The paper establishes a system dynamic model for supply chains which consist of manufacturers,distributors,wholesalers,retailers and customers.Using vensim simulation,it analyzes the factors that affect the bullwhip effect and demonstrates the effect of VMI in bullwhip effect mitigation. |
