A Comparative Study of the Disparities between European and American Anti-dumping Rules

The anti-dumping laws of the U.S.A.and the E.U.show no differences from those of the WTO in some principles about confirmation of dumping,its impairment,the suing procedures and measures concerned.However,they do have different under-standing of and stipulations on some issues such as confirmation of normal values and the consideration of the public interest.The paper holds that to have a good idea of all these points will help to improve China's anti-dumping countermeasures so as to secure a positive position in coping with the anti-dumping investigation of the U.S.A.and the E.U.
