Another Industrial Revolution?

The advanced economies generally launch new technology and industrial revolutions after economic crises.The leading manufacturers of mobile phones are doing the same.It is reported that Samsung will use porcelain to build the shells of their mobile phones.The material,made from silicon nitride,is very light and easy to hold.Apple will use an alloy of zirconium,titanium,nickel and copper to make phone shells.All those changes indicate that the mobile phones will become more light,thin and durable.But these cannot lead to a revolution for the mobile phone.The truly breaking news is that Apple will put organic radical batteries(ORBs) in iPhone5.It will cost only 30 seconds to charge the battery.It is predicted that Apple will cooperate with NEC to develop the epoch-making products.Large numbers of reports indicate that the battery technology will take a leap.A research group in Northwestern University of the U.S.has designed a new method.Using this method,mobile phone users can charge their handsets in fifteen minutes and increase the batteries’ capacity by ten folds.This means that an electric car will be able to cover a length between 700km and 1000km after being charged.This will surpass the capacities of most oil-fuelled cars.
