| 摘 要： | 改革开放以来，我国的城镇化水平得到较大提高，但仍然存在较多突出问题和矛盾，整体上滞后于社会经济发展。结合我国特殊而复杂的国情，根据发展现状和现实条件，在区域差异分析的基础上，探索具有中国特色的城镇化道路，在东、西部地区不同城镇化背景下进行多元化发展模式的选择，是关系到中国经济、社会、政治可持续发展的重大战略问题。
