| 摘 要： | 英语和汉语作为世界上最重要的两种语言,它们在词的构成方面有许多共同点,如类似的原理和共同遵循的原则,同时两种语言也有自己比较独特的构成方式,如汉语的连绵词,声音和谐、极富韵律美,是世界上所有语言中十分独特的现象.

| Abstract: | As two of the most important languages in the world, English and Chinese have much in common as on word-formation. On the other hand, they possess unique ways to form words respectively. For instance, the abundant alliterative two-syllable terms, with harmonious sound and beautiful musical rhythms, are a special phenomenon in Chinese different from other languages. |
