Many countries have made much efforts for the imbalance in regional development,we can learn a lot from them.The economic development in Gansu province falls a lot,and there is a big gap in the economic and social development in different areas in the province. We should find the causes of the gap and learn the experience at home and abroad,which is of great practical significance for accelerating the coordinated development of Gansu province and narrowing the gap between Gansu and the eastern provinces.
