Expansion joint is an important part in the construction of a bridge, due to long-term exposure to the atmosphere. It is the most easily damaged part in the bridge construction. Strengthening the bridge expansion joint construction and quality control is directly related to vehicle safety and the life of the bridge. Therefore,through analyzing the type of bridge expansion joints, this article discusses construction methods and quality control in hope to provide a theoretical basis for ensuring the quality of the bridge expansion joints.
