| Abstract: | Department of Commerce of the
United States announced a report titled as "Manufacturing
in America Manufacturers: A Comprehensive Strat-
egy to Respond the Challenges to U.S. Manufac-
turers" on Jan 16, 2004. This report analyzed the challenges that U. S. manufacturing industry was up against. Ac-
cording to the main content of this report, this paper analyzes the current situation of American manufacturing
industry and introduces the main countermeasures the U. S. government will take. |
