摘 要: | Jingdezhen is located in the northeastern prat of Jiangxi Province, originally called Xinpingzhen. In the Jingde period of the Song Dynasty (1004-1008), it was named Jingdezhen because of its fame in ceramic-making. Jingdezhen was one of the four porcelain towns in China, its porcelain was renowned at home and abroad for its features "as white as jade, as bright as a mirror, as thin as paper and as melodious as Qing (an ancient Chinese percussion instrument)".
