广西旅游人才培养改革探讨

2009年,国务院41]号文件把旅游业定位为＂战略性的支柱产业＂,广西区党委和政府提出在＂十二五＂期间把广西建设成为旅游强省的目标,给广西旅游业的发展带来了前所未有的机遇,但同时也给广西旅游业带来了空前的挑战。新形势的出现对旅游专业人才的素质提出了新的要求。在此情况下,全面审视广西高等旅游教育的发展状况,探讨广西旅游人才培养改革问题便显得尤其重要和迫切;提出了＂旅游专业师资结构优化、科学设置课程体系、科学构建实践体系＂等改革措施,对广西旅游人才的培养具有一定的指导和实践意义。

Research on the Reform of Training Tourism Professionals in Guangxi

In 2009, the State Council decided that tourism industry is ＂a strategical pillar industry＂, and the Party Committee and Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region set it as a goal to develop Guangxi into a leading tourism province by the end of the ＂Twelfth Five--year Plan＂, which has brought about tremendous challenge as well as an unprecedented chance for the tourism development in Guangxi. This new situation puts new quality requirements for the tourism professionals, and consequently, it seems especially important and pressing to make an overall review of the present development situation of tourism education in the institutions of higher learning in Guangxi and to make a deep research on the training reform for tourism professionals. This paper has put forward ＂optimizing the teaching personnel＇s qualification, building a scientific curriculum system and practice system ＂ as some reform approaches so as to provide some guidance and practice for the tourism professionals in Guangxi.
