英文外贸信函的文体特征与撰写

撰写好一封英文外贸信函取决于诸多因素 ,如撰写人的英语基础、业务技能及实践经验等等 ,但把握住外贸信函的独特文体特征 ,这是关键。然而 ,目前此类课程的教材大都只是强调外贸信函起草的格式和构成 ,而对其独特的文体特征则很少进行介绍 ,而且有关这方面的文章亦很少见。因此本文拟对英文外贸信函的文体特征作一初步探讨 ,以期能将文体分析融入到相关课程的教学之中 ,更好地帮助学生撰写此类信函。

Stylistic Features of English Business Letter & Its Writing

Business letters play a vital role in international business activities.The writing of a business letter should be an important part in teaching arrangements of the courses such as Foreign Trade English,International Trade Correspondences,and Practical Writing.It is certain that the writing of a good business letter is dependent upon many factors such as one's English foundation,professional knowledge,and personal experiences and the like.Nevertheless,a good understranding of its stylistic features should be vital to that effect.However,most teaching books only attach importance to its layout and structures with less attention paid to the unique stylistic features of a business letter.Hence,this paper tries to explore such stylistic features so as to draw the teachers attention in this aspect and help the students achieve good effiects in business letter writing.
