Abstract:
This article discusses the possibility of sustainable agricultural development and how it could be put into effect. It is argued that sustainable development must be implemented in accordance with holistic and autonomous principles, and that it must comply with the laws of the natural and sociocultural environment in which it is embedded. Two examples of the holistic human ecology paradigm are given, in the contexts of sustainable agrarian and developmental policy.
