Research on the Operation Model of Virtual Enterprise

This paper discusses some basic problems on the new pattern of organization-virtual enterprise under the background of IT revolution. At first, it gives the definition of virtual enterprise and reasons for the appearance of virtual enterprise. Then it describes the operation model of virtual enterprise on the basis of the analysis of structure of virtual enterprise. The author advances that the formation of virtual enterprise is a value-creating process, and each partner has its core competence. Knowledge Creation and Knowledge Management are crucial to the success and viability of the new organization.
