Talent Demand of Broadcast and Television Media in Yangtze River Delta Area in a Media Convergence Era

Media convergence now has increasingly become the strategic development trend of the traditional media industry.Based on the overall condition of position demand,professional requirement and comprehensive ability of talents for broadcast and television media in the Yangtze river delta area,an analysis is conducted.The result proves that in an era of media convergence,some traditional dominant positions in broadcast and TV sectors like broadcast hosts are getting saturated.However,program information gathering and editing,planning and managing talents are in large demand.In addition,the demand for engineering and technological talents increases with years.The diversified knowledge structure,creativity,team work coordination capacity,intensive medium skills are the new features of talent requirement.Management talents will become the important component of talent demand of broadcast and TV industry in the future.
