| Abstract: | Based on the analysis to the connotation of compact city, this paper generalizes the main factors which show impact on the compact development of cities in Zhejiang. The factors include terrain, urban transportation, population scale, the optimization of industrial structure, the mode of space expansion, urban planning, national macro-policy and so on. It also discusses the impact mechanism of each impact factor to the compact development of cities. |
