Research Progress on the Comprehensive Utilization of Passion Fruit By-Products

Abstract:The peel,seeds,flowers,leaves and other by-products of passion fruit are rich in a variety of biologically active substances,and have high nutritional value and economic value,but these by-products are almost discarded as waste,resulting in great pollution and waste of resources.Therefore,it is necessary to make comprehensive use of passion fruit byproducts to increase the added value of passion fruit.In this paper,the research progress of the utilization of the utilization of by-products such as peel,seed,flower and leaf in food,medicine,cosmetics and industry in recent years were summarized,in order to provide a reference for the further utilization of passion fruit by-products.
