Taking care of the customer

Abstract:Taking care of the customer while running an efficient manufacturing operation is a challenge. This article describes the success one contract manufacturer had in developing a customer service department to manage a growing and diverse customer base. Balancing customer and plant requirements during a period of organizational change is discussed.
