浅谈“以实用为主 以应用为目的”的高职高专英语教学改革

高职高专英语教学应朝着高职高专方向和素质教育方向改革，即“以实用为主、以应用为目的”，注重教学实践，以培养学生在其职业范畴内实际运用英语语言的能力为目标，教师要充分考虑到高职高专大学生的教育文化背景，实事求是地利用和优化各种有利的资源，调动教与学双方的主动性和潜能，最大限度地实现教学目标。

On Methodology Reform of Higher Vocational English Education under the Theory of Practice and Application

The reform of higher vocational English teaching should be oriented to professional and quality education;i.e.practice-oriented and for the purpose of application.We should focus on teaching practice and developing student's actual ability to use English language within professional area.Student's educational culture background should be tak-en into consideration.Teachers should use and optimize all kinds of favorable resources to give full scope to the initi-ative and potential of both students and teachers,so that teachers can achieve all their teaching aims at their maximum.
