| Abstract: | This paper introduces the basic principle of SVC static var compensator and SVC control strategy,and emphatically calculates and analyzes the roles of installing a set of 210 MvarSVC device in the 500 kV Wuzhou Substation of China Southern Power Grid Co.,Ltd.for strengthening dynamic reactive support capability of Guangdong and Guangxi section,enhancing the stability level of the system and improving the quality of power. |
