甘肃早期秦长城调查所见关堡略论

早期秦长城指的是秦昭襄王时所筑的长城。调查所见33处关堡,在设立、形制及分布上都有一定的规律,一般设立在山梁顶部、河流交汇处和河畔台地上。形制则依地形而定。关堡与长城墙体、敌台、烽火台构成一个系统的防御体系,并且是这个体系上重要的一环,起着指挥、屯兵、防守等作用。

On the Investigated Forts of the Great Wall of Early Qin Era in Gansu Province

The Great Wall of the early Qin era refers to the sections of the Great Wall builted during the reign of Zhao Xiang Wang.The thirty-three forts investigated exhibits a certain regulation in terms of their establishment,shape and distribution.They have usually been set up on the top of hills,at the joint points of rivers or on the terrace by rivers.Their shapes varies in accordance of the topography.The forts together with the wall body,battlements and beacon towers,forms a systematic defensive system and is an important element of the system,playing the roles of commanding and stationing the troops and defense.
