读《地球不堪重负》引起的思考——兼论遏制牧区沙漠化

《地球不堪重负》一书给我们提出了一个严峻的问题:“中华文明在流沙面前退却”,需要我们认真对待。沙漠扩展其原因与过度放牧、滥垦、滥采、水资源利用不合理等有关,但更与政府工作及决策上的失误有关。我国牧区需要有计划地进行建设,出路在于调整牧区的农牧业生产方针和经济发展模式。当前急需解决牧区缺饲草问题,为建设牧区创造有利条件。
