Bringing into Full Play the Subjective Initiative of Students in College English Teaching

This paper discusses the ways to bring the subjective initiative of students into full play in college English teaching, which include three aspects: to create the ideal teaching environments, to adopt the appropriate teaching methods and to perfect the system of evaluation and feedback. Such doing is helpful to college students in developing and improving their English competence.
