Theory and Application of Eco-Transformation as a New Concept for Regional Development

The concept of Sustainable Development provides a clear perspective for solving conflicts between environment conservation and economic development, while it remains a worldwide problem that how to cope with the relationship between environment and development so as to propel social, economic and environmental sustainable development. Eco-transformation on regional development explores theories and methodologies for sustainable development by reforms on policy, industries, management, technology, and culture to fostering and building up ecological industries, eco-friendly human habitat, eco-culture in order to promote transformation on regional development.
