| 摘 要： | 粮食供应是城市的生存命脉。古代中国的城市供应与中古时期的西欧城市相比,存在很大差异。西欧的城市主要依赖"农业腹地"和"长途贸易"提供粮食,城乡关系和境外贸易都非常重要;而中国古代城市的供应则主要依靠官府调拔和市场配置,城乡之间没有建立明确的经济关系和贸易联系。两者的差异反映了大一统社会与割据型社会相比较,城市所处的地位不同,城市的生存方式也不同。
