Abstract: | The high density of labour market regulations is often quoted as an explanation for the unfavourable employment trends in most European countries compared to other nations. These regulations vary considerably from country to country, however. Which are the most important areas of regulation? How is the regulation of the German labour market to be judged compared to that of other European countries? |
