Influences of Liabilities of Foreignness on Firm's Choice of Internationalization Process

Abstract

This study examines the effects of liabilities of foreignness on the choice of internationalization process. Based on a sample of 112 Korean multinationals, the results show that most firms adopt the evolutionary process than the revolutionary process. This is particularly true when the liabilities of foreignness are low.
