对中国特色城镇化道路的深层思考

胡锦涛总书记在2005年9月29日中共中央政治局第25次集体学习会上强调指出,坚持统筹城乡发展,以工促农,以城带乡,在经济社会发展的基础上不断推进城镇化。坚持走中国特色的城镇化道路,坚持大中小城市和小城镇协调发展,逐步提高城镇化水平。这就进一步深化十六大报告所提出的全面繁荣农村经济,加快城镇化进程的新思路,深刻揭示中国特色城镇化道路的实质。这种“特色”集中表现在它是同解决农业、农村和农民问题紧密联系在一起的。

Meditation on the Urbanization Way with Chinese Characteristics

On Sept.29,2005 in the 25th conference of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee,President Hu Jintao pointed out that we should stick to the coordinative development of urban and rural areas,promote the development of agricul- ture with industry, bring along the development of the countryside with cities and boost urbanization continually on the basis of economic and social development.We should stick to the way of urbanization with Chinese characteristics and the coordinative development of big and medium cities and small towns and improve the level of urbanization gradually.This further deepens the new idea of flourishing rural economy from all sides and accelerating the course of urbanization which was put forward in the re- port of the 16th conference,and opens out the nature of the urbanization way with Chinese characteristics.The characteristics focus on its close relation to solving the problems of agriculture,countryside and farmers.
