He came to Continental in early 1988 after 12 years at Chemical Bank, where he was Managing Director, Global Securities and Foreign Exchange. Mr. Rawls is the current chairman of the Risk Management Center Committee in Chicago.;Vice President of the Risk Management Products division of Continental Bank. His past research, which focused on a wide range of microeconomic issues, has dealt with questions of regulation, production, discrimination in labor markets, natural resources, and issues in the delivery of health care.
