| Abstract: | The theory of the state is an important part of the New Institutional Economics(NIE).The main four functions of the state in the category of NIE are: the biggest supplier of the institution;the definer and protector of property rights;the executor of the institutions;the balance-keeper of different interest groups.The analysis of the state's functions in NIE will help us better understand the theory of the state in NIE and the role it plays in the institutional analysis. |
