从翻译补偿的角度探讨文化缺省的重构——兼评《浮生六记》林语堂译本

文化缺省即交际双方在交际过程中对共有的文化背景知识的省略。文学作品的翻译不可避免要进行跨越文化缺省的重构。林语堂在翻译《浮生六记》时对文化缺省进行了补偿,但也存在不足之处。

Cultural default can be defined as the absence of some cultural background knowledge shared by the author and his or her intended reader,which is the challenge that translator inevitably confront with in translating literary works.LIN Yu-tang makes compensation for cultural default in translating Fu Sheng Liu Ji,though it is not perfect.
