Application of VBA Technology in Plotting Cadastral Parcel Map

The purposes of this paper are to draw cadastral parcel map automatically and to show the tables of boundary marks in a cadastral survey based on Excel VBA tool. Method employed is to conduct programming using Excel spreadsheet as development platform and the attached VBA as programming language. The results indicate that through Excel VBA the plotting of cadastral parcel map, corresponding numbers of boundary marks and the labeling of side lengths of boundary sites can be achieved. Furthermore a result table containing side lengths of boundary sites, azimuths and area of land parcel can also be generated. It is concluded that the compiled programs in this paper are easy to be applied to draw a cadastral parcel map, while avoiding the inconveniences of installing a third-party software which requires the users to get familiar with the software in advance.
