Abstract: | A sample of 104 expatriate hotel managers in the Asian Pacific was asked to respond to a questionnaire designed to analyze the effects of multiple job and non-job-related factors on expatriate job satisfaction and life satisfaction. The study shows that job satisfaction and life satisfaction are closely related, and share some common predictors. The five common predictors of expatriate satisfaction identified are role clarity, skill variety, participation in decision making, cultural adjustment, and cross-cultural training. |
