| Abstract: | This article analysizes comprehensively the economic development trends of the Pacific - rim region in the 21st century in the context of global economy. It propoSes some suggestions on maximizing Hong Kong's advantages and side - stepping its disadvantages for sustaining and exerting itself's superiority for acquiring an enduring development after its return to the motherland. It puts forward the need for probing and nurturing incessantly of new economic growth point for adapting to the changed situation and following the way to win by means of quality, creation and information. |
