摘    要:从语用学的角度看,语境是语言活动参与者所共有的背景知识,这种背景知识使听话人得以理解说话人通过某一话语所表达的意义。随着时代的发展,大学英语词汇教学不再是孤立的部分,不讲结构,不讲语境。本文从语用学的角度分析了语境对大学英语词汇教学的启示,在此基础上提出了利用语境促进词汇教学的策略和方法。

Abstract:From the angle of pragmatics,context is the common background knowledge shared by linguistic activity participators.This background knowledge enables listener to understand what speaker wants to express through a certain linguistic term.With the development of time,college English vocabulary teaching is no longer an isolated part without structure and context.From the angle of pragmatics,this paper analyzes the enlightenment of context on college English vocabulary teaching.On this basis,it puts forward the strategy and method of promoting vocabulary teaching through context.
