Changchun Dacheng Industrial Group was listed among the world's top 50 innovative companies,according to the Fast Company magazine.Challenged by constantly rising oil prices,Dacheng develops technology of its own,which uses maize straws to make sugar and then sterol.If counted based on the output of the maize straws in 2010,Dacheng has saved three Daqing Oil Fields.Dacheng has developed new controversy-free strains,and several foreign companies express their desire to build joint venture abroad.Currently,Dacheng has become the world's largest lysine supplier and China's largest corn deep-processing manufacturer.It ranks the third in terms of the overall competitiveness in biofermentation,biochemical industry and diversif ication of non-grain materials,closely behind ADM and Cargill.As the industry chain extends,Dacheng has increased opportunities for innovation and is able to distribute the production capacity in accordance with the market demand.
