试论都市圈概念及其界定标准

都市圈作为经济、社会生活的新型空间组织形态,受到越来越多的中外学者的关注。然而,关于都市圈的概念和都市圈域范围如何界定,中外学者众说纷纭,莫衷一是。本文试图综合国内外学者关于都市圈现象的研究和论述,给出一个都市圈涵义的较全面的表述,并归纳出都市圈“两大、两高、多通”三项定性原则,最后结合我国的国情,给出一个都市圈域界定的动态三阶段标准。

On the Concept and Definition off Urban Circle

As a new type of space structural state,the urban circle is attracting increasing attention from scholars from both at home and abroad.However,there have been diverse definitions as to what constitutes an urban circle.This paper intends to offer a relatively comprehensive definition of the urban circle and identifies three principles in defining the urban circle,i.e.,two largeness,two highs,and multi-links.On the basis of combing the three principles with China's specific conditions the paper finally proposes a three-criterion definition of the urban circle.
