Abstract:As a clean energy source with strong environmental adaptability, the distributed generation has the characteristics of high utilization rate of energy and flexibility of power supply. But it also brings new harmonic problems to the power grid because of its complex propagation and high dispersibility. Firstly, the dangers and the causes of distributed generation harmonic are summarized, and it is pointed out that power electronic switching device is one of the most important factors of distributed generation harmonic damage. Secondly, the harmonic mechanisms of photovoltaic power generation, wind power generation, micro-gas turbine and fuel cell are summed up, and the main influence factors of generated harmonics of the different generation forms are analyzed. Then, the harmonic suppression technologies of four types of power supply are carded, and the problems in suppression technology research and application are pointed out. Finally, the research direction of harmonic suppression technology in the future are prospected, which provides a reference for studying the harmonic suppression technology of distributed generation and reducing the harm from power harmonic.
