| Abstract: | The linguistics study has experienced three stages in the 20th century:the stage of structuralism,the stage of TG Grammar and the stage of systematic-functional grammar.Discusses briefly the development of the linguistics through these three stages and the representative linguists as well as the characteristics of their theories. |
