Japan's Industrial Structure and Policies during the Dualism Transformation

Based on the turning point theory of Lewis and Fei-Rains dualism model,this paper finds that the changes of industrial structure exert dominating influences on Japanese economy which exhibits significant features of dualism transformation.Effective policies were made by the Japanese government to guide the economy through the turning point.The changing patterns of Japanese industrial structure and the industrial policies around the turning point have important implications towards China.
