| Abstract: | In this study, the hedonic price method was used toidentify and monetarize some of the external effectsof agricultural and sylvicultural activities. Weexamined the renting price of ruralself-catering cottages, or gîtes. Intensivelivestock farming caused the renting-price ofgîtes to decrease, whereas permanent grassland hadthe opposite effect. |
