Communicative Translation and Semantic Translation Studies and Application

Translation is a cross-language,cross-culture communication whose purpose is to make the target language readers have the same reception as the source language readers.New Mark proposed semantic translation and communicative translation to deal with the culture elements in transiation,which was a great contribution to translation studies and the application of communication science and semantics to translation.This paper has made a thorough study of semantic translation and communicative translation, especially the application to translation practice.
