| 摘 要： | The Yantai Development Zone belongs to Yantai City in Shandong Province, one of China's first 14 open coastal cities. The district is situated on the blue sea northward and nestles among the green pine hills southward. Its construction area is 20 square kilometers, half of which has been built into a new industrial district, following ten years of construction. Mr. Hu Ping, Director of the Special Zone Office of the State Council, has inspected the area several times in recent years. He said, "Among all the development zones in China, Yantai is next only to Dalian in terms of construction."
