Im/Ex in May,2010：Exports Continued Recovery in May

On June 10, 2010, General Administration of Customs of the People＇s China （GAC） Republic of released the profile of China foreign trade import and export in May and the first five months of this year. China returned to a trade surplus in April on strong exports growth after posting its first monthly deficit in almost six years in March, and Chinas exports surged by 48.5 percent year on year in May, while the imports climbed 48.3 percent, the General Administration of Customs （GAC） announced.

China＇s import and export in March, 2009 continued to be another month of decreasing trade. On April 10, General Administration of Customs of the People＇s Republic of China announced the profile of China foreign trade import and export in the first quarter of this year. According to the customs＇ statistics, the total import and export value for March amounted to US$162.02 billion, 20.9% decreasing compared with the same period last year. Among the total value, the export value amounted to US$90.29 billion, down 17.1% year-on-year,     

NOT ALL BAD

According to the data released by China General Administration of Customs on ,April 10th, in the first three months of 2010, China trade surplus dropped by nearly eighty percent, and March first saw monthly trade deficit from May 2004. Judging from current situation, trade surplus in the full year of 2010 may be low,

China＇s trade surplus fell by 42.5 percent in the first six months this year from a year earlier to US$55.3 billion. In the first half of 2010, exports rose 35.2 percent to US$705.09 billion while imports were up 52.7 percent to US$649.79 billion,     

对2004年以来首次季度贸易逆差的思考

2011年一季度,中国自2004年以采首次出现季度贸易逆差.此次逆差源于进口的迅猛增长,一方面是由于国内经济持续较快增长拉动了进口需求,另一方面是国际市场大宗商品价格的大幅上涨,同时这也与我国的外贸政策有关.贸易逆差的出现有利于减少国际贸易纠纷与摩擦,缓解人民币升值压力,但是大宗物资进口价格的上升也带来输入型通胀的压力.这次逆差的偶然性比较大,就2011年全年来说,贸易顺差是趋势,只是该顺差额与往年相比会下降.     

中美双边工业品增加值贸易隐含碳福利核算与分配问题研究

现代贸易方式不仅导致贸易利益在全球价值链上进行分配,还带来了贸易隐含污染排放在全球贸易网络中的分布。两国之间的贸易利益分配除了表现为贸易经济福利的分配,还表现为贸易隐含碳福利的分配。本文将贸易增加值分解法结合MRIO模型对2000—2014年中美双边工业品贸易增加值所隐含的碳福利分配及影响机制展开深入分析。研究结果表明:(1)在中美双边工业品增加值贸易隐含碳福利分配中,碳福利逆差在中国,碳福利顺差在美国;(2)中美工业品贸易碳福利级差经历了“先扩大,后收窄”的过程,美国次贷危机之后双边碳福利不平衡状况重新呈现扩大趋势;(3)中国碳排放强度下降、价值链地位提升以及对美进口规模扩大都有助于改善碳福利逆差的局面,但美国对中国不断扩大的中间品和最终品需求以及双边复杂的技术关联结构仍是中国碳福利逆差的主导因素;(4)全球价值链的深化可能将导致对出口国加征关税会通过降低进口消费侧排放的方式恶化加征国的贸易隐含碳福利。本文研究的时间范围同时覆盖中国加入WTO以及美国次贷危机两个重要节点,这对于重新审视中美经贸关系新格局下双边贸易隐含碳福利分配构建了一个新的分析视角,为中美未来贸易谈判以及全球碳排放责任认定提供了一个新的解读方向。
