跨境电商以及配套物流网络的快速发展致使平行进口对部分行业产生了巨大影响。通过建立三种市场权力模式下跨国制造商与本地制造商的博弈模型,本文对比分析有无灰色市场的不同模式供应链参与者的定价及利润,探析平行进口对低支付意愿市场的跨国制造商与本地制造商之间寡头竞争的影响。研究发现:市场支付意愿比值低于某一阈值时不会出现平行进口,市场权力模式和灰色市场的存在能影响跨国供应链参与者的收益多寡及定价策略;灰色市场有益于本地制造商和平行进口商,市场处于单一制造商主导模式有助于减少跨国制造商损失、增加本地制造商收益及缩减平行进口商的利润,在制造商共同主导模式下存在一个市场支付意愿比值区间,致使跨国制造商收益增加;平行进口促进还是抑制寡头供应链的价格竞争,取决于市场权力的结构形式。  相似文献

The high level of product substitution in most consumer markets often makes it difficult to match supply with demand, especially in sectors with mature, saturated markets with intense competition and a high degree of product differentiation. The difficulty of using technical characteristics such as quality and/or price to differentiate products suggests that marketers could profit from gaining more insight into the way in which consumers' purchase decisions are influenced by their perceived emotions. This paper investigates this issue in the wine market, a highly saturated market with homogeneous supply, obtaining results that appear to support the notion that emotions do indeed play a part in consumer choice structures, which show a higher degree of abstraction in those segments that report a greater number of perceived emotions. This considerably complicates the task of creating a differentiated marketing strategy, in the sense that suppliers need to give much greater consideration to consumers' self‐awareness. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

With heightened global competition, many manufacturers export as a process by which to increase sales and expand into new markets. South Korean manufacturers export in order to expand outside of a small domestic market, but confront the constraints of many exporters (especially smaller firms), including access to market intelligence and geographically distant prospective customers. This article examines efforts by machine tool manufacturers to minimize the friction of distance involved with exporting through the use of international trade fairs. Analytical emphases are placed on the influence of individual export destinations and on the role of firm size vis-à-vis firm export intensities and overall export strategies and motivations.  相似文献

This paper presents a simple model to examine the implication of credit market imperfections when considering the huge variation of agricultural labor productivity across countries. The development of credit markets enables more agents to acquire skills to work in non-agricultural sectors. The expansion of the sectors decreases the labor supply to agriculture as well as increases the supply of modern intermediate inputs to agriculture. Agricultural producers accordingly substitute the relatively cheap intermediate inputs for labor to produce a given level of an agricultural good, and, thereby, the output per worker in agriculture is improved. Poor countries with less developed credit markets are, therefore, far less productive in agriculture than rich countries with well-developed credit markets.  相似文献

We hypothesize that multinational firms operating in emerging markets transfer technology to local suppliers to increase their productivity and to lower input prices. To avoid hold-up by any single supplier, the foreign firm must make the technology widely available. This technology diffusion induces entry and more competition which lowers prices in the supply market. As a result, not just the foreign-owned firm, but all firms downstream of that supply market obtain lower prices. We test this hypothesis using a panel dataset of Indonesian manufacturing establishments. We find strong evidence of productivity gains, greater competition, and lower prices among local firms in markets that supply foreign entrants. The technology transfer is Pareto improving — output and profits increase for firms in both the supplier and buyer sectors. Further, the technology transfer generates an externality that benefits buyers in other sectors downstream from the supply sector as well. This externality may provide a justification for policy intervention to encourage foreign investment.  相似文献

As firms from across all manufacturing sectors are rethinking their outsourcing and offshoring strategies, there is the potential for a manufacturing renaissance in the U.S. The findings from this case study suggest that the current manufacturing relocation shift is not perceived by manufacturers as a long-term business strategy (as outsourcing has been). As such, the results suggest that manufacturing relocation decisions based exclusively on models such as total cost of ownership (TCO) will not deliver anticipated near-term costs savings. In addition to TCO, firms must have access to information concerning the complexity of the outsourced manufacturer’s manufacturing and supply chain processes in order to fully evaluate the ‘as-is’ outsourced function against ‘to-be’ manufacturing relocation opportunities.  相似文献

本文以汽车零部件入厂物流模式为研究对象,基于入厂物流、Milk-run、路径优化等相关理论,在Milk-run,JIT供应理论的基础上提出了涵盖集货和配送两部分的双循环集配汽车入厂物流模式,并且从供应链优化角度,为汽车制造商和零配件供应商提出了降低物流成本的双循环集配解决方案。本文提出的双循环集配模式可以为汽车制造企业适应"拉动"式市场,提高企业竞争等方面提供理论和现实依据。  相似文献
