The Measures of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China for Implementing the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Customs Protection of Intellectual Property Rights discussed and passed at the executive meeting of the General Administration of Customs (GAC) on Feb.17,2009 is hereby promulgated,which take effects on July 1,2009.     

Interim Measures for the Tax Preservation and Enforcement Measures of the Customs of the People''s Republic of China

Article 1 For the purpose of regulating the Tax Preservation and enforcement measures of the Customs of the People's Republic of China, guaranteeing the state taxation and safeguarding the lawful rights and interests of taxpayers, these Measures are formulated in accordance with the Customs Law of the People's Republic of China and the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Import and Export Duties.     

Measures of the General Administration of Gustoms of the People's Republic of China for the Administration of Manifests of Inbound and Outbound Means of Transport

The Measures adopted at the Executive Meeting of the General Administration of Customs on 10 March 2008,promulgated in the form of Decree No.172 of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China on28 March 2008,and effective as of 1 January 2009.

Im/Ex in June, 2010： Exports Hit Record High

On July 10, 2010, General Administration of Customs of the People＇s Republic of China （GAC） released the profile of China foreign trade import and export in June and the first six months of this year. China＇s trade surplus fell by 42.5 percent in the first six months this year from a year earlier to US$55.3 billion. In the first half of 2010, exports rose 35.2 percent to US$705.09 billion while imports were up 52.7 percent to US$649.79 billion,

Im/Ex in May,2010：Exports Continued Recovery in May

On June 10, 2010, General Administration of Customs of the People＇s China （GAC） Republic of released the profile of China foreign trade import and export in May and the first five months of this year. China returned to a trade surplus in April on strong exports growth after posting its first monthly deficit in almost six years in March, and Chinas exports surged by 48.5 percent year on year in May, while the imports climbed 48.3 percent, the General Administration of Customs （GAC） announced.

On April 10, 2010, General Administration of Customs of the People＇s Republic of China （GAC） released the profile of China foreign trade import and export in April and the first quarter of this year. China＇s trade balance turned red in March with the country＇s first monthly trade deficit in six years. The GAC attributed the March deficit to shrinking exports of labor-intensive products, surging imports and rising commodity prices.

Measures for the Administration of Prohibited and Restricted Import of Technologies

In accordance with the Foreign Trade Law of the People＇s Republic of China and the Regulations o）c the People＇s Republic of China on the Administration of Import and Export of Technologies, the revised Measures for the Admin-istration of Prohibited and Restricted Import of Technologies is hereby promulgated, which shall take effect 30 days there- after. The Measures for the Administration of Prohibited ana Restricted Import of Technologies （the former Degree No. 18 [2001] of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation and the State Economic and Trade Commission） is abolished at the same time.     

Detailed Rules for Implementing the Interim Regulations of the People''s Republic of China on Business Tax

Article 1 The Detailed Rules are formulated in accordance with the Interim Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Busi-ness Tax (hereinafter referred to as the Regulations).
